The Law Foundation of Ontario celebrates a big birthday in 2024. In our 50 years of advancing access to justice since 1974, we have provided over $1B to grants, class actions, and Legal Aid Ontario to support people across Ontario.
As we begin our 50th anniversary year, we are excited to share Growing Possibilities, our 2024-2029 strategic plan. At this important milestone, the plan articulates our ambitions to leverage our resources, knowledge, and relationships to respond to the current access to justice challenges and opportunities. It also sets out our commitment to continue to grow our knowledge, innovations, and partnerships. The plan’s 6 pillars and 19 objectives span the Foundation’s core activities including grantmaking, sector building, the Class Proceedings Fund, financial stewardship, and organizational capacity. They also confirm our commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, and Truth and Reconciliation.
Growing Possibilities came together with the effort and input of many. We are grateful to everyone who generously gave their time to participate in the process. We are excited to share and to move forward on delivering the plan.
