In memory of the Hon. Sydney Lewis Robins

The Hon. Sydney Lewis Robins passed away Friday, January 10, at age 90.  When LFO was founded in 1974, Sydney Robins served as the first Chair of our Board of Trustees.

Sydney Robins’ career in the legal profession spanned more than six decades. During this time he served as counsel, as a special lecturer on torts at Osgoode Hall, as first a Bencher and then Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and as a judge of the Supreme Court of Ontario, and a judge of the Court of Appeal of Ontario. His dedication to the profession will be missed.
