Probono Inmate Appeal Program

Probono Inmate Appeal Program provides unpaid duty counsel to assist indigent and unrepresented appellants with criminal appeals before the Court of Appeal for Ontario. With the support of one full-time paralegal, 40 senior criminal appellate counsel volunteer the equivalent of 80 free lawyer days per year to ensure that the right of access to justice is extended to these otherwise unrepresented individuals.
